THE MIKE BOCHOFF BAND

Whether performing with a power-pop trio or solo, Mike Bochoff (sounds like Bah-Choff) throws down a menagerie of catchy choruses and wry observations with authority and a healthy dash of sly humor. His highly-engaging performances have seen him grace stages all over North America supporting past efforts …in the Service of Madness (2007), Horror Culture (2009) and Start ‘Em Young (2014).

Together with the aforementioned trio The Mike Bochoff Band – rounded out with Mat Budreski (drums, vocals) and Stephen Hare (keys, vocals) – January 6, 2017 saw the release of the dark horse offering Distractions under the GroundSwell Music label. Distractions is an earnest display of the band’s versatility within the pop music pantheon, underscored with the electrifying highs of “Glory”, the scathing-yet-compassionate “Sons of America” and the brooding somber lows of the title-track “Distractions”.
