I started Factory Music Management & Agency Ltd eight years ago.
Prior to creating my company I had worked independently as a promoter putting bands such as the then unknown Biffy Clyro (amongst others) in venues locally and nationally.
I also worked behind the scenes crewing for bands – everything from merchandising to catering. It was through this hands-on approach that I began to notice that bands were treated far better in mainland Europe than in the UK. Around this time I also began managing Lauren Harris, daughter of Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris. Lauren was to do two world tours with Iron Maiden, which then gave me excellent insight into how a global organisation is run.
When I decided to set up Factory Music my goal was to be able to offer bands not only a proven booking agent but also a company that would handle all aspects of touring; from booking shows to pre-production, tour buses, work permits, crew members, merchandise coordinators and so on… A one-stop shop so to speak. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and Factory Music is proud to offer a service that is focussed on providing the best possible service for all our bands.
Over the years I’ve worked with bands such as Children Of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Ministry, Accept, Enslaved etc…
I currently manage Gus G (Ozzy Osbourne and Firewind guitarist), as well as Richie Faulkner (Firewind and Judas Priest guitarist).
