Claudia Seeber holds a degree in North American Studies and Business Administration. Following the completion of her studies in 1996, she joined the Massachusetts Trade Office in Berlinas a Trade Specialist. Her duties included assisting North American companies to enter the German market. From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Seeber held the position of Trade Manager for the European trade and investment office of the state of Mississippi based in London, England. Having played a major part in introducing North American products to the European market, Ms. Seeber returned to Germany in early 2000. She joined the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in May of 2000. In her role as Trade Commissioner, she is currently responsible for promoting German-Canadian trade relations in the field of TV and film production as well in the music industry. In this capacity, Ms. Seeber supplies Canadian exporters with market intelligence, advises on business customs and helps to establish contact with key players in the market. Ms. Seeber maintains a close network of German music industry representatives and can match Canadian businesses with German counterparts.
