Stoke City are the oldest team in the Championship.
Nicknamed the Potters, the Club were formed in 1863 and played most of its football in the top two tiers of the English game.
The Club’s only major honour is the League Cup trophy from 1972, when Chelsea were beaten 2-1 at Wembley Stadium thanks to goals from Terry Conroy and George Eastham.
